Conference venue

The sessions of the workshop will be held at the Marie (Sklodowska-)Curie lecture hall of INSA de Rouen, campus Madrillet.

Address: Avenue de l'Université 76801 Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray Cedex

To get there from the city center (≈ railway station 'Rouen Rive Droite' = metro station 'Gare rue Verte') take the metro to the Technopôle station.
(It looks like a tram but local people call it metro, and, yes, it goes underground a little.)
Attention, the line bifurcates, so make sure to take the correct direction: Technopôle.
The journey from the 'Gare rue Verte' to 'Technopôle' takes about 30 minutes.
Then follow the map (2 minutes walking).

Accommodation

Most of the speakers will be staying either in Hôtel Morand or in Hôtel Astrid.

When you exit the railway station 'Rouen Rive Droite' you see the Hôtel Astrid directly. The Hôtel Morand is 5 minutes walking distance from there (cf. the map).

The following hotels were also recommended by our colleagues:
Hôtel des Arcades
Hôtel de Québec
Hôtel de la Cathédrale
Hôtel de Dieppe

You can also use the following websites:
www.booking.com or www.venere.com that work reasonably well for Rouen.

Note: When booking your hotel please don't forget that INSA de Rouen is situated
outside the city (approximately 30 minutes by metro from the city center).
In case you have difficulties booking the hotel, don't hesitate to contact us.

Information about Rouen

Official website of Rouen

The canonical way of getting to Rouen is by train from Paris. There are
about 20 TER (regional trains) per day circulating between the
'Paris Saint Lazare' and 'Rouen Rive Droite' railway stations, nearly half
of them are non-stop, making this journey in about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Transportation around Paris

The easiest way to get to 'Paris Saint Lazare' from Charles de Gaulle or Orly airports
is to take the RER - the trains operating in the suburbs of Paris.
At the airport follow the signs "Paris par train".
From Charles de Gaulle one option is to take the RER line B to 'Gare du Nord',
there change to the station 'Magenta' of the RER line E and go (one stop)
to 'Haussmann-Saint-Lazare' and follow the signs "Trains grandes lignes".
This journey should take about 1 hour.

From Orly one needs first to take the Orlyval train to 'Antony', then perform the above procedure.

From Beauvais airport one option is taking the bus "Navette Paris - Porte Maillot
-- Aéroport de Beauvais" and then take a metro or RER. This journey may take about
two hours and depends on the traffic.
